Chico at 6 weeks
Chico is our latest home bred dog. His lines are a combination of Nanuke, Keikewabic and
Oopik. An extremely pretty puppy, little Chicharito has blossomed into a very handsome dog,
At a very early age Chico was put in the show ring. During the summer of 2010, too young to
compete in KC registered dog shows, he hit the companion show world. During this time he
picked up several Best Puppy in Show and on one occasion astounded his handler by
picking up Best in Show at 4 months old!!! At the moment he seems to be following his
mother's lines, so we are planning on a slow maturing dog, blooming at 4 years old, just like
his mother.
He is a happy boy who is always full of mischief. He is a cheeky pup who is always up to no
good. Because of their similar age he has buddied up with India and the pair are a two dog
whirlwind, causing chaos wherever they go.

Again, we cannot thank our very good friend Sandy D'Andrea enough for letting us have
Patience, enabling Chico to boast the awesome Costello as his granddad and legendary
Tyler as his great granddad. And thank you to Sharon Loades for Terra whose lines
matched so perfectly to produce this litter.
Ongiara...a history.
The name Niagara is said to originate from an Iroquois word 'Onguiaahra' meaning The Strait or Thunder of
Waters. The original inhabitants of the region were the Ongiara, an Iroquois tribe. They lived mainly in what is now
southern Ontario but formed a few villiages across the Niagara river in upstate New York, pretty much where
Patience came from, so all puppies from her will bear the Ongiara affix.
